Why are we kept in prison?

It doesn't seem to be very nice of George Bush, but Bush is a Fascist Dictator though like Saddam was.

My personal impression is that this censorship is necessary to keep the people of Iran from thinking. Like where does all the oil money go.

The Shah maintained a first class army and navy, his air force flew F14 fighters (very good and very expensive) and his tanks were an upgraded British Challenger- also very good and very expensive. The Shah was literally up to his neck in gold and his army was the most powerfull in the region. All of which cost heaps of money.

Today Iran is a 4th class military power, relying on large numbers of extremely poorly trained and dismally armed draftees. I am very sorry to say that today Iran is a pushover in the military sense of the phrase.

And yet, where did the cash go? It sure did not go on education, or on food for the poor.

The sex sites are free to access, because so long as the people stay addicted to this, they may not bother to think about anything important.

I bet that it is very easy to buy drugs on the streets too. The same way was used to control people in communist USSR. Iran has the black dictators instead of the red ones, but nothing much else differs.

Hang on mate. Keep your mind open and your mouth shut. It took my country over 50 years to get rid of our dictators- and we were extremely lucky.

For the continuation of this present Fascist Administration looting America. Vote them out and free America...Iranians have been under the control of Capitalist from when the oil reserves were first found by the Capitalists.

unfortunately the government keeps us in prison.but don't think the filtering is just foe sex sites.the main goal is to prevent people to be informed about what happens in the country.most politic sites are filtered and you know all about the journalists.But what can we do?wait for america to come and make the conditions even worse?

enjoy your life and don't think about that.that's the only thing you can do.

I watch, on a daily basis, the state run "news" broadcasts from Iran and think "Stalinistic Clerics"

The Iranian people must be desperate for a free and peaceful government and society.

We in the Unitied States have the same problem. Since Bush became president, laws have been changed that allow him and his people to read our mail and e-mail and listen to our phone calls. Bush and his regime have taken away many of our liberties with laws like the Patriot Act. Bush and his people and those people whom they bribe all over the world are lying to us.
