Where do you have to go to get a 1 1/2" masonry bit, not sds or spline?

not sds or spline.(normal chuck)

    I don't believe you can get a masonry bit that large that's not sds or spline. Not to mention, with that size, you might be better off price-wise to rent a spline drive rotary hammer and the appropriate sized bit than to purchase the bit...depending, of course, on the length of time you plan on using it.

    Any DIY store worth it's salt will supply, it will have a reduced shank to fit a 1/2 inch chuck.

    Make sure your drill has the power to drive it, probably better with a pilot hole first.

    I have several and I got them at either Home Depot or Lowe's.. YOu can also get them at Ace Hardware.. or on the East Coast at Heckinger's

    any tool shop should have them. but the best place to look would be a masonry supply yard

    lows or Home depot, and brick yard mostley will not have that. try ebay, they have that sort of thing aswell.
