How many average hours of sleep do you get each night?

I'm 27 and I've had Insomnia all my life.On average I get about 4 hrs of sleep a night.

I am 57. I average between 6-8 hours a night.

I am 61. I get about 4-5 hours of sleep during the day, because I work the night shift.

I'm a 20 y.o. female. I try to get at least 8 hrs of sleep every night otherwise I am a zombie for the day. I also can't handle getting up early (like before 7am) even if I've had plenty of sleep - I just end up super tired all day. Thank god for coffee.

Hi to my fellow insomniacs! At night, I get three to four. Try to pick up another hour later in the morning. I'm 45 (gasp!), and have had insomnia since I was a teen. I used to have the kind where I couldn't "fall" asleep, and now I can get to sleep, but it won't stick! Thank goodness for Answers at 4 a.m.!

I', 55 and I get an average of 6 hrs. sleep per night.Mayabe 8 on the weekends.

When I don't have a litter of puppies coming or already born its about 6 hours a night, but when I have puppies, I am lucky if I get 3! I am 22.

exactly 8 hours! I have an internal clock with wakes me up after sleeping 8 hours, it`s good during the week cause i go to school but during the weekends i can`t sleep any longer!
