Desktop What's the best place to put it and how?

    Usually the Programs folder on your C drive. You will normally get the chance to choose the location during the installation process.

    i've made a folder titled "Downloads" in the spare partition where I normally save all the downloaded files to, makes it easier to locate in the future.

    And also you should set the browser to save all downloaded files to a particular folder. Usually under Tools or Options,etc.

    Cut and past into your C:\Program Files

    There's no "best place." Just wherever you want them!
