Is gas the only product in this country that we pay in dollars, cents and mills?

    Not really...

    For instance...if you bought 1 EXACT gallon of gas the station is not able to charge you the 9/10ths of a cent or whatever...it only kicks in when buying MORE than 1 of the product.

    Similarly...if you are getting something at a store 2 for .99 you are paying .495 each.

    No. The other thing priced in Mills is Property Taxes.
