Can you get a flu shot and a pneumonia shot on the same day?

    My doctor just gave me both yesterday.

    Yeah. As a matter of fact, most places, even the pharmacy places offer pneumonia shots at the same time as flu shots.

    Absolutely, assuming there are no contraindications, such as being allergic to the vaccine. You can receive the flu shot once a year, usually given in the fall around Halloween. Most people only need to receive one pneumoccal (pneumonia) shot before age 65 and then one "booster" shot at age 65 or older.

    Yes you can, pneumonia shots are often offered at the time you get your flu shot.

    I don't think they give out pneumonia shots.

    It's not usually recommended because of the minimal reaction some people have to one or both and the overall potentcy of both. Ask your doc health/clinic for their guidelines.

    you sure can.......most flu clinics offer both shots at the same time

    You sure can. My father just got both of his but it did make him slightly ill for the few days following them. Good luck to ya.
