Yahoo Answers is shutting down on May 4th, 2021 (Eastern Time) and beginning April 20th, 2021 (Eastern Time) the Yahoo Answers website will be in read-only mode. There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account. You can find more information about the Yahoo Answers shutdown and how to download your data on this help page.

Have you experienced this?

It's happened to me lots of times. I see a question I'd like to answer but when I'm about submitting my answer, the open time elapses and my answer isn't submitted...really pisses me off!!!

Hey, maybe Yahoo answers team can allow those already answering a question about to elapse to have their answers submitted even if it's after time's gone. Person'e already answering the question right? Then give him/her the privilege

Update:

It's not like I wait DAYS to answer a question, sometimes I just stumble on the question on the day it should expire. Now I say should cos the Asker could also do me a favour and extend te date of expiration. Speaking of expiration...should I extend this further? Let me know people, thanx-a-bunche.

Update 2:

And it's not because of connection failures of any kind...if that happened, the ISP would be fired (and replaced).

why are you waiting for days before answering a question?? why not just go to new questions and answer those that way you know the time won't run out????
