my window media player cannot play Video DVD and CD anymore on my laptop.What must i do.?
In the past,my Laptop can play all video DVD and CD.Oneday,I have install Cd rewritable.I can not tell if I have install it wrongly. Since then,I cannot play my CD any longer.One of the error messages that often appear is
WINDOW MEDIA PLAYER CANNOT PLAY THE FILE.THE PLAYER MIGHT NOT SUPPORT THE CODEC THAT USED TO COMPRESS THE FILE.
Please,What must I do so as to for it to function properly again?

have you tried another player such as VLC Media Player? (free of charges)

look under tools and then options, then look for file types, hit the block that says select all.
