Do ants speak? as the qu'ran sais?

The Koran talks about an incident where Somolom listens to ants while they are "talking".

(Koran 27:18-19)

At length, when they came to a valley of ants, one of

the ants said: "O ye ants, get into your habitations,

lest Solomon and his hosts crush you (under foot)

without knowing it."

Update:

Did solomon have a microphone and amp (or another listening device)?

ON THIS EARTH CREATED BY ALLAH EVERY LIVING CREATURE ALSO PLANTS SPEAK AND THEY SPEAK ONLY THE GLORY OF ALLAH EG. THE SOUND OF PEGION INDICATES IT SAYING "GAFOOROO" MEANS THE ONE WHO FORGIVES THE SOUND OF SPARROW INDICATES IT SAYING "CHEEM" AND ARABIC ALPHABET THE SOUND OF CROW INDICATES IT SAYING "QAF" AN ARABIC ALPHABET

The ants according to the Qur’an have a communicativelanguage. It is said that this language is pronounced through particularciphers. The ant is the only sect which buries, like man, its dead (victims)after wars. Sometimes, they hold conferences and have some discussions. The ant is able to numb animals bigger than it through excreting a particularsubstance towards the nervous centers of these sects and consequently, theybecame paralyzed and unable to move. Then, they cut them into small pieces. Before the coming of the winter, the ants store their food. It is impossiblethat this can be done with such scrutiny in a community without a language. Communication allows for the conduction of all aspects of life. Thus, theGlorious Qura’n told us that ants have a language for communication, hundredyears before modern Science even discovered these facts. The ants have alanguage to communicate and understand each other and have a systematic, cooperative and continually moving community.

Not only Ants. Whatever is created is in communication and communion with the Creator. This is grasped, understood, and believed in with 'God-consciousness'; a state of existence that is the ultimate goal of Spiritually aware followers of Religion. In some answers, the question has been made fun of. They are poor ones.

No. Absolutely not. They are driven by total instinct. They are incapable of abstract thought, musings, or of cognitive reasoning. They have no vocal chords.

However, ants do communicate for an array of reasons. The following is a list of the 12 major reasons for communication that researchers have identified (Holldobler and Wilson, p. 227).

    Alarm

    Simple attraction

Recruitment, as to a new food source or nest site

    Grooming, including assistance at molting

Trophallaxis (the exchange of oral and anal liquid)

    Exchange of solid food particles

Group effect: either facilitating or inhibiting a given activity

Recognition, of both nestmates and members of particular castes, including (broadly) discrimination of injured and dead individuals.

Caste determination, either by inhibition or by stimulation.

    Control of competing reproductives

Territorial and home range signals and nest markers

Sexual communication, including species recognition, sex recognition, synchronization of sexual activity, and assessment during sexual competition.

Ants can communicate chemically. I'm not even a Muslim, and I can clearly understand that it would be sufficient to understand that this need mean no more than than an ant emitting warning pheromones.

They 'chatter', listen to an ant colony with a microphone and amp (or another listening device).

Mashallah You are reading the Quran :)

Mashallah You want to be friends with Muslims ;)

    May Allah bless you.

May God keep your intentions good and guide you through the right way inshallah?

I believe that miracles occur everyday, If God made a men raise from the dead, If God makes a virgin give birth, If God makes the seas open , How can't God not make an ant talk to a prophet?

    Salamaleikum friend,

    Muslimah!

Ants speak by example. They never stop working.

All animals, insects, fishes and birds can talk. Its just that us humans cant decipher it.

Solomon (P.B.U.H) was a prophet of Allah and he was given power over all animals and birds and could thus talk to them and understand them.
