there's a couple of different ways but mainly, you need to get a publisher interested. You can team up with a musician or you can see if you can find a band that can use your lyrics. A publishing deal is based on both the lyrics and the vocal melody, so you need to get music to it somehow, but you can split roytalties and advance 50/50 with a musician.
