of course they don't care. they don't care that the bin Ladens were flown out of the country when all other planes where grounded after the 9/11 attacks, flown out BEFORE they could be interviewed by investigators. they don't care that GW had Taliban leaders visit him in Texas in order to plan a huge pipeline thru Afghanistan. they don't care they their VP is a big stockholder and ex CEO of Halliburton, the company that gets all the no bid contracts to supply and maintain both wars. or that everyhigh official in the Bush admin has big stocks in the Carlyle Group, war industry corporations. they simply don't care that 100 of thousands of have Iraqis died and nearly 3 thousand USA soldiers have died to benefit a cable of despicable war profiteers. they don't care about any of it because the neoCONs have them so frightened that they'd rather believe in a bunch of corrupted political cronies than any inconvenient truths. cowards all.

My opinion this is not a republican nor a democratic issue, there has been a bi-partisan sale of our govt since the end of WW2 Every administration since FDR, who have turned the other cheek in order to maintain the flow of cheap oil into the USA.. money flows from the Saudis and the oil industry into political coffers on both sides of the aisle, for presidential, congressional and senate races, and former administration officials' jobs (remember Kissinger excused himself from the 9/11 commission rather than identify his clients) .Being generous has nothing to do with it, buying favors has everything to do with it.

Just keep in mind that quite a number of al-Qaeda's operatives have been trained in Saudi-sponsored madrasahs). This is in order to dissuade them from overthrowing the monarchy--a protection scheme that is shaky at best, given the hatred most citizens feel for the ruling family and the U.S.
