What would you do?

I have to rely on VA transportation to get to the VA hospital in my area. I have called the Van Driver at least 4 times this evening to find out what time in the mourning I will be picked up. I have had no responce at all. I take medication that makes me very drowsy and I then go to bed. If the van driver does not call soon, I will have no idea as to what time I will be picked up. I am thinking about just saying the hell with it and not even bother going or waiting a little while more and then say to hell with it if no call. What would you do?? I have never had this problem before.

Call the hospital and tell them the situation... or leave your voice message telling the Van driver to leave the time on ur voicemail so you can get it in the morning

Do you have the phone number of someone else who also goes to the VA hospital in the same van you do? Maybe they would know what time or at least tell the van driver to call you early in the a.m. Or, you can just keep trying, or like you said, just say to hell with it. Its not your fault you can't get through. God bless.

Call your local VA office to report the situation. They may have a back up number for the driver or may be able to contact him/her for you. Next time, make arrangements for transportation as far in advance as possible then call 2 days prior to your appointment to confirm.

Veteran? Thank you for your sacrifice for our country.

well that depends on why you are going to the hospital and if it would be bad for your health or well being if you skipped it.
