From Crowne Plaza you can take the tunnel (inside the Hotel Lobby) and walk to KLCC (Twin Towers) and see the under-water world there too... but ensure to go there early (by 8am) to visit the 42nd or 43rd floor of the towers, or else the line builds up and they close ticket distribution by 11am. For your nitelife, come outta the hotel and walk right and go to Beach Club (entrance bout 30-40 ringet-1 free drink). Loads of women there different nationalities. It's also a safe place to just go and have a drink. Since your staying close, the women will agree to come to your Hotel Room, you havta bargain and ensure not to pay more than RM250 for about 3 hours (the hotel allows this dun worry). Opposite Beach Club, there is Thai Club - same scene, but i prefered Beach Club. Just make sure you dun pick up the lady boys that are outside and try to entice you. Some of them look more gorgeous than the women.

If you come outta the Hotel and take a left, you'll walk for about 10 mins and reach Bukit Bintang... lotsa nitelife there too, Malls like Lot10 and opp that Sungai Wang... just scout around there in the foodcourts you can eat some great food.

take a stroll to suria klcc shopping mall. don't buy anything there though, it's all overpriced. though the madam kwan's restaurant on the topmost floor is worth sampling (try nasi lemak or nasi goreng). using the putra lrt railway system, take a ride to pasar seni station. it's a two minute walk to chinatown from there. you can have fun haggling with the vendors and sample real chinese food. if that's not up your alley, just take a 20 minute walk from klcc to bukit bintang. you'll find the following malls:

a) starhill : overpriced, classy brand name items

b) lot 10 : okay but kind of boring

c) sungeiwang : cheap but tacky stuff, the odd gems here and there. good place if you're into treasure hunting (get there and you'll get what i mean)

d) low yat : cheap electronic gadgets (with some haggling)

e) berjaya times square : generally a white elephant. good for one stroll though. oh and it has an imax theatre.

you'll find nightspots peppered all over the bukit bintang area. the best clubs are along jalan p. ramlee. zouk is walking distance from klcc, along jalan ampang. just be careful because single tourists are likely to be conned by cabbies. everywhere i've just mentioned should not cost you more than RM 5.00 in fares. welcome to malaysia! :)
