i used 100% pure cocoa butter. it was in the hard stick form. its the only thing that worked for me. its great for scars too. but it HAS to be 100% cocoa butter only. no other ingredients.

Yes cocoa butter and lotions every day don't stop useing them till after the baby is born it definately helps but you may still get them just not as bad. depends on your age also some folks skin doesn't strectch very well keep this in mind besides you earned every line for the pleasure of having a child and it is a reminder of the begottten days lol years later

I used Palmer's cocoa butter for stretch marks. I started using it right away and continued through the whole pregnancy. It seemed to help a lot. I didn't get any stretch marks on my belly at all. But just remember that stretch marks are very hard to avoid. Just because your belly is what gets the biggest doesn't mean that you won't get stretch marks anywhere else.

Coco butter works great as a preventative measure. But if you already have them the best thing to do is go to a dermatologist. After I had my baby I had a couple and store bought creams just won't cut it. I had to go to a dermatologist before I saw any real results.

whether or not you get stretch marks has nothing to do with what you use. it is genetic. the type of skin you have determines whether you get stretch marks. coco butter can help reduce the pigment of the stretch marks, but it wont eliminate or prevent them. it does help with the itching though. only a dermatologist can give you any medication that will reduce your stretch marks. i don't believe that you can use it until after you give birth and finish nursing (if applicable). just moisturize your skin the best you can.

Lotion or oil of any kind will do, along with massages softly and often..

I read about a study in a medical journal several years. It found that the massaging/rubbing action alone was more helpful than a variety of oils/ ointments in preventing and reducing scars…

    good luck ;)

It mostly depends on your skin. My mother doesn't have any stretch marks. I don't either. But my sister does. The only thing I did was whenever I had a itch rub lotion there. Any and all kinds of lotion.

Cocoa butter and vitamin E oil. You have to apply both two or three times a day, but it's worth it - you won't have stretchmarks.
