For real declaration of a language as Classical, it should be a living language 2. Must be more than 2000 years old, 3. Well established Grammer 4. Must be mother to other languages 5. Must have helped other languages to grow by lending words etc to name a few.

    in regard to Tamil:

    1. It is spoken for more than 4000 years before christ

    2. It is the mother of Many languages like: Singala, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Thulu etc.

    3. It has lended many words to English, French, Thai, Indonesia, Malaya etc.

    4. It has also accepted many words from Latin, English, French, Arabic, Urdu, Marathi etc.

    5. Has unique grammer

    6. Vowels unique like YA ; RA ; Vazhala etc

    7. Can you translate this word into any other language:

Aclassical lnguage is always un mixed and can be written without letters or words from any other languge.

Eg Sanskrit, Latin, Greek, Tamil etc

Tamil is a pure language made by Agstya the great sage.

He has taken the 9 vowels and 18consonants like

Ka & (inga) fom Ka varga Cha & inja from cha varga Ta and na from ta varga etc

So only 26 alphabets arethere and the whole language is composed of words made from these letters.

For egxample a flower is called pushpam in sanskrit

various ly called as pusp, pushpa, etc in other Indian languages

In Tamil it is called Malar
