You should eat at least 6 egg whites including 1 with yolk or you should consume about 53grams of protein after an hard workout. for example: drink a protein shake immediately. and than one hr later eat 2 chicken breasts with conjunction with healthy carbs. keep doing it for every 2-3 hours. You will see some results.
good luck!!!!

they are the terrific! One egg white has approximately 7 grams, so i might decide for 3 or 4 if I have been you, it incredibly is approximately 0.5 a cup of eggbeaters! It does count on what type of work out you're doing and your length nevertheless. Use egg whites after lifting weights or resistance workouts. After a aerobic consultation, combination proteins and carbs, like chocolate milk or a drink combination.

Actually, right after a hard workout your main concern is to replenish your carbohydrate stores. So, I would consume about a four to one ratio of carbs to protein(40g to 10g), then in about two hours for a meal consume more protein then the other main macronuturients.

Hi,
Well depends upon your age and yr metabolism.
If u r working out too hard then u can start with 3-4. If u feel comfortable with it, then slowly increase the number.
Dont begin with lot of egg whites as it can affect your health.
Cheers,

I would say six or seven egg whites is enough. Soy protein is good for weight training too.

a post workout drink should consist of mainly high GI carbs .mainly dextrose with juice ,its your pre-workout meal and the meal 1hr after your workout that contribute to the majority of your protein intake.although a post-workout drink containing protein wont hurt.your focus should be on carbs so sooner you can stop your catabolic rate the sooner you can start repairing muscle tissue and gaining mass.
