try going to calorie-count.com. up at the top they have a search box. just type in what you want to look up, and BAM! there it is, all the nutrition facts. It's a pretty cool site, still some kinks, it's still in beta.
Oh, and your answer is 3.6g, for a large raw, white egg.

If you have time and a choice between the two you always go with the egg. Eggs have a ton more good stuff in them than just the protein, but it takes time for your body to break them down. Protein products like powders are great and contain a ton of amino acids but are better served at specific times. Immediately pre or post workout you can't get much better than a fast burning protein source like whey or a whey-casein blend. But now here's my question to you: Why only eat egg whites? Perhaps that's a dumb question...you'll probably say the cholesterol. Well did you know that there have been no studies (as in zero) done that link the cholesterol found in whole eggs with the kind that causes heart disease? It's true. In fact, according to Jonny Bowden, PhD, "egg yolks contain choline, a transmitter that has been known to remove cholesterol from the blood stream." Cholesterol is vital for all humans, and with men especially as it is the one thing that testosterone is produced from (which is something you'll want a lot of if you're looking to add size).

I don't know how many grams of protein right off the top of my head, but I'm sure the info is available with a quick search of the internet. What I can tell you is that for muscle building, egg whites are a great source of protein. Your body's ability to make new proteins for muscle growth is directly related to the availability of all of the neccessary amino acids. If any of the aminos are in short supply, your protein making ability will be limited. Egg whites contain a good , balanced amount of all of the essential aminos.

I would like to know the answer too. with and without the yoke. I know if you are weight training you might want to buy egg whites only in the dairy section (comes in a carton). Body builders don't want the yoke, but I can't remember why, perhaps cholesterol.
Update: I just went and looked at the grocery store myself. 50g of egg white which is the equivalent of one large grade egg contains 5 grams of protein and zero grams of fat.
