Book of Genesis question?
God tells Adam and Eve to go forth and "replenish" the earth. REplenish? After some study of this passage I have found that some scholars believe that there was a populated earth before Adam and Eve when Lucifer had donimion over the earth before he rebelled against God. Can it be that both evolution AND creation are true?

This is how Websters Dictionary defines replenish:
Main Entry: re·plen·ish
Pronunciation: ri-'ple-nish
Function: verb
Etymology: Middle English replenisshen, from Anglo-French repleniss-, stem of replenir to fill, from re- + plein full, from Latin plenus -- more at FULL
transitive verb
1 a : to fill with persons or animals : STOCK b archaic : to supply fully : PERFECT c : to fill with inspiration or power : NOURISH
This should help you to see that Adam and Eve were instructed to go and fill the earth with their own kind and they were to be in charge of all the animals. God's Word tells the truth. Don't let the beliefs of imperfect humans make you doubt what the Bible really teaches.

Read the Bible once again. Lucifer did not dominate the earth before Adam and Eve. He had his dominion after Jesus till now. Look for the word Lucifer in King James Bible and Catholics Latin Vulgate in Isaiah !4: 12-17 and then read the other Bible that gave him a different calling such as NIV, American. you will see that your Lucifer is not an angel but a man who said he will sit at the highest assembly of Gods. Go back to Genesis on the 6th day of creation and you will notice that there were male and female created together at once with the animals obviously before Adam and Eve which gave a reason for Cain to worry about being killed by anyone who sees him if he is send out of the garden of Eden and a reason why he was able to find a wife for himself. In several Bibles the word "replenish" was changed to "rule". somehow it has something to do with taking care of the earth and its inhabitants. Making sure that each should survive and grow in numbers to have a balanced eco-system.

ABSOLUTELY NO !!! There were no other humans on earth before Adam and Eve their commission from God was to go and name the animals and to have them in subjection to take care of them and for him to have children and for them to expand the Garden of Eden to cover the entier earth them and their children grandchildren ect since as Gen 5:4 mentions that Adam and Eve had other children and as time went on and they grew up some of the sons took daughters as wives cain for example as there was at this time no law against it as there is today so bro and sisters wer close to perfection no genetic damage would occur in their offspring so evolution is a theory that didnt spring up untill 6,000 years laterand has no basis in fact and has been so completely disproven it is absurd to even mention it hope that helps you Gorbalizer

Not likely.
The original command was to 'go forth and PLENISH the earth".

Not so, God created everything, and then called it good. Would God call millions of years of death and suffering "good". I think not!
