What happens if i move overseas, permanently?

Just curious as to wha happens to your credit rating when you move overseas permanently. Does it follow? Do overseas credt agencies have access to your previous file? If i have a great/awful score at home will that still apply?

Update:

Well, say from Australia to New Zealand, US to Australia etc. Will a credit score in the US Still apply in NZ or Aust?? Or an Aust score apply in the US or NZ??

It depends on where you will go.

If you are moving from the US to a country such as the Philippines where there are no credit bureaus or bankruptcy protection laws, your US credit history is meaningless.
