Ragdolls tend to be very laid back cats, which gives them the 'ragdoll' moniker. Tabbys (not "taddy") tend to be very affectionate, playful, friendly, and chatty cats. Our neighbor has a Ragdoll, we have her sister (a very outgoing Calico) and a Silver Tabby (and four other cats).

We have a big fat female Ragdoll and she doesn't realize that she's a cat; she thinks she's human! Seriously, she's very loving, gentle, patient, excellent with my children as far as not biting and letting them hug and kiss her. She's fearful of strangers, however, and cries whenever I leave the room without her. Very much like a baby in that regard. She is by far a more personable cat than our male Siamese (he's a big grump and only likes my husband, plus he meows this weird trumpet-like cry) and our female wire-haired cat, who is lazy and only wants to eat and hog all the pillows in the house. My Ragdoll cat is very much so a people cat and reciprocates the love she gets from us in a very affectionate and gentle manner. Long story short, Ragdoll cats are wonderful!

All kitties are great.
You only need to pick one, and take him home, and love him.
