This has got to be, without a doubt the stupidest, most ignorant, blatent lies I have read on this site since I started coming here and you must be mentally ill, if you have a brain at all. Judging by your complete lack of command of the English language, you probably have the IQ of an oyster.

Here's a clue genius; the Marine Corps is one of the most difficult services to get into. They won't even talk to you if you have a FREAKIN' TATTOO let along a criminal record. You must be stoned on paragoric or something to make such a stupid statement.

That is the most ignorant thing I have ever heard. First of all, a felon is not allowed to carry a weapon. Second of all, the Marines have the highest moral, ethical, and physical standards of any of the armed forces. Third, none of these people would be able to join because of drug use, mental and physical problems, or being an all around "turd." I can't beleive I am even entertaining this question. You may need to do some research before you start spouting this uneducated, ghetto fairy tale, crackhouse, non-sensicle gibberish.

There is a large percentage of the morally qualified that cannot even join because of a physical problem like a heart murmur, scoliosis, deafness, bad vision, etc...

Note: Perhaps I was a little harsh. After all, the russian army once beleived that you had to kill a member of your family to be a Marine. There are plenty of stories like this--such as radio transmissions intercepted from the enemy in operation desert storm that stated "Six white sleeves ahead, retreat! retreat!" The "white sleeve" referred the the former USMC combat utility uniform, which the Marines and only the Marines wore with the light part of the sleeve facing outboard when the sleeves were rolled up. They knew that death awaited on the horizon. But, although these legends have been created by the Corps, we will never have a criminal in our ranks...the cost would be far too great to jeapordize the mission and other Marines. If you don't beleive me, ask the thousands of men who have been turned away when they tried to enlist or commission for minor misdemeanors and other crimes of moral turpitude.

where else are they going to get marines form? No, just kidding. I think that the reason being is that they all ready have an aggresive mind that will make them even deadlier in combat or something.

Whats new? Your shocked? They always have. Hey, where do you go for very stupid killers? Jarheads have never had a rep for being long on common sense. If I had to fight a war, I would like them with me, but let them go first. Airborne all the way! Air assault now kido's.
