Does anyone else have trouble playing files on the computer with .swf extensions on them?
Recently I have been having trouble clicking links to download files that have .swf extensions on them. I tried updating my Shockwave Flash Player, but that doesn't seem to work. Has anyone else had this problem, and does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

Hi. Are you trying to play the .swf files on your own pc and not on the net? If so, just clicking them on your pc won't let you play it, even if you have the most updated Shockwave Flash Player.
Instead, try opening them on your browser. Right click the .swf file, and click "Open with", a list of programs will come up. From there choose your Internet browser. (ex. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc.) If you really have update you Flash Player, you should be able to view them play on your browser. :-)

.swf is the common flash file. If you've updated Flash then I don't know why you wouldn't be able to view these. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the plug-in?
