Where has my snake gone???

My chequered garter snake likes to go on a wander every so often but she has now been missing for nearly a fortnight! I can't think of anywhere else to look? Where has my snake gone???

Update:

Inside. I thought maybe under the tumble dryer but she isn't there.

Garter snakes are fairly small and therefore can be anywhere. I have bred and kept snakes for about 20 years , so i feel your pain. Try the airing cupboard, behind the fridge, oven and anywhere where there is heat . Take off your bath panel and look under there. Down beside your sofas is also a favourite. I lost a 12 foot burmese python once . Imagine what that is like! Got it back in the end though. Hope you find him.

My king snake turned up cold in the middle of the kitchen 6 months later Never found out where it went .Then it went missing again 3 years ago and i havn't seen it since .

I often wonder if he sits in shop doorways begging for pinkies,

or just travels from town to town helping people with their problems ,like the littlest Hobo. Only he would be called the slithering hoboa.

They tend to head for warmth. Check under or behind the fridge, by any heating source, behind the dryer. At the pet store I used to manage they hid under the soda cooler because there was a small box that got pretty warm. You'd be surprised how long they can survive outside of their habitat.

like various reptiles and birds snakes have a unmarried taking off call the vent or cloaca the position faecal count number and uric acid are excreted at the same time. excreting uric acid is more effective effectual than urinating because a lot less water is wasted even as excreting wastes.

Garters like to climb...if you have a warm area overhead...light, vent, or anything that produces a heat source...look for your snake...the bottom of the fridge was a good one..but more than likely you will find you snake overhead,...

    Good Luck!

You know, if she's still inside, she might be in a secluded dark area, like under a couch or bed. She may be squeezed behind a TV, bookshelf, or something like that.
