Who is the best president of the 20th century--and give one quality he had that says "why".?

    FDR - only choosing one reason it would be how innovative he was. i think that encompasses pretty much everything he did from the brain trust to d-day.

    I think that FDR has to be considered the best because he had the confidence to allow people to hope in spite of the great depression and horrors of World War II.

    If I have to choose one, I would say FDR, at least he helped the poor and the common man, and was not all for big business.

    FD Roosevelt. He saved the country from the Depression and got us through WW2.
