Does it bother you that the Bush Admin. forced Saddam verdict to happen today?

Obvoiusly, Iraq Gov't is a puppet of U.S. That is why people

of Iraq will never trust U.S. EVER!

Yes. It definitely bothers me. That administration will do whatever it takes to try to retain control. They're so hopeless now that I fear there will be some serious tampering with electronic voting machines so that Rove et al can get their way. I bet the founding fathers are rolling over in their graves. Despicable......

This rush for judgment bothers me very much. I guess Rove's October surprise happened a few days late. The fallout may come too late for Tuesday's election. I guess we just have to wait and see what a mess this will create. It may backfire.

I have a very bad feeling about this. W. has ignored the rules so far, and I am not surprised that he pulled a few strings to force this verdict. That was probably what he meant by his speech last week about changing his strategy in Iraq. I'm sure he gave the ultimatum that either the death sentence comes out by Monday morning or we will pull out the troops immediately.

    Source(s): Just my sincere opinion.

Truly , i don't think that they planned it , you see they weren't allowed to give him a trial , Iraq did so , and one thing is that even mentioning Iraq as progressing does not help them , there are enough independents and others of the sort that are not conforming about the war and they are determined already , you won't see many shifts , but what i do see happening is that the attacks won't be announced that much and won't revere to much until after the elections , when they'll show how this will actually not be so much of a good thing with shites and Sunnis angry or rejoicing and creating violence .

Alright let's say you are right - so we manipulate a little bit - that is NOTHING compared to the alternative - just bury our head in the sand and just hope the terrorists will leave us alone.

This bit about Saddam not being linked to terrorism is just false. Just because he didn't like Bin Laden doesn't mean he wouldn't encourage OTHER groups to form up in his country.

I can't wait for all those pre-U.S. invasion Iraqi terrorism news clips to get to the U.S., "Death to America" was a common theme, and these weren't just kids, these guys had money and weapons.

No, I think the American people can see through the fog. The repuglicans will leave no stone left unturned to keep control of congress and the last 6 years have shown that this is not good for America.

Politicians should have nothing to do with the legal process. The administration even gave themselves immunity.

Stooges. But Saddam was found guilty of killing "his" own people but the Kurds have consistently helped the invaders(US) in the first and second gulf wars. No country will tolerate such activity among one of its tribes.

No I love it, I think he made the call after he lowered the gas prices and and conjured up another hurricane for next year. His next trick will be to give John kerry a brain and Hillary a neuclear powered vibrator. Its better for the enviroment than all those batteries
