Lap Band Surgery?

Anybody ever have it? What are the side effects? How do I find out if insurance will cover it? How long is the recovery? If you have had it done would you do it again?

Contact your local bariatric surgery group. They usually have seminars with a MD and patients to discuss all aspects of gastric bypass and/or lap band. Your insurance carrier can tell you if it's covered? The lap band company also has an interest free loan program last that I was told. Some patients, esp. more obese, have developed swallowing problems with the band. A lot of docs are scoping people's throat to stomach to rule out preexisting problems to avoid this complication. You also have to make sure to get the band adjusted as you lose weight to keep from overeating. Recovery is quick vs traditional bypass.

Weight loss surgery-like gastric bypass /lap band surgery / stomach stapling and gastrectomy have become very common and very safe now. My cousin got her Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery in India. She has lost more than 65 lbs in 5 months and is very happy with the results. The price for obesity surgery is very less in India. My cousin just paid 25% of the cost she was quoted in America. She got her surgery from a company called Forerunners Healthcare.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines. I have read a lot of their patient stories also. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low cost, as bariatric surgery and weight loss surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that your Obesity surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

    Hope this helps.

i think of this is doubtlessly risky interior the long-term to have gastric pass surgery because of the fact it relatively is irreversible and your physique wil lbe constantly scarred. the different surgery i've got faith is back the comparable subject even with what this is. I advise weight-reduction plan and attempting your maximum suitable to get right into a critically severe exercising application. i woudl take regardless of ruin day of artwork to get your BMI a lot decrease as i will make certain you're almost double the BMI of weight problems. regardless of you do, weigh your concepts very heavily and placed your long term wellness first until eventually now any cost.
