WHAT do you know about ADHD testing in "SIMPLE"terms??
Everything I have seen so far goes way over my head using long medical words and jargon.Surely there is somewhere that can explain in everyday language How,What,When and Why.

Depends on the person administering the testing.
My unknowledgeable doctor said try Ritalin and if it works you'll know if you have ADHD.
An excellent counsellor who worked with kids and adults with ADHD could diagnose just talking with me about my life.
A psychiatrist did a lengthy written assessment.
My Dad's doctors did days of tests!
They all agreed it was ADHD so just depends upon who you see.

There is a list of symptoms like - unorganised at school, cannot sit still through favourite movie, always late, aggressive. First they go down the list and if you tick alot of them then they might take you for a brain scan (no pain). I don't think they know why, but bad diet plays a part and hereditary (from parents).
