When your teen daughter is going out on a date/or out with friends - what time does she have to be home? Is the rule the same for your son?(only applies if you have a teen son)

lol- I may be the wrong person to answer this, but Im 26 now- and lived at home until I went to college at 18. And I had an 11pm curfew. Even after my prom, I had to be right home, while all of the other kids were allowed to go to parties and what not. I have a 21 year old brother... By the time he was 16 there was no curfew. And he went straight to a weekend camping (drinking) trip after his prom. Now, I guarantee this is because I was the daughter and he the son, because I was a straight A student, and he was a jock...

When my daughter was a teen she was to be in the house by midnight. She was allowed 15 minutes depending on where she was, if there was a problem with getting home (car trouble) she was expected to call home within a half hour of the problem arrising. She had a cellphone so there would no reason she couldn't call.

I don;t have teens, and they are both sons, but the rules should be applied to both the same.

She has to be home at 10:00pm, 11:00pm on weekends. Yes, she will probably get mad cause the fun starts at that time but it is for her own good and she probably won't understand that until she gets older. The son, always, gets to stay out a little more late because he can't get pregnant but still needs to stay safe.

In Islam it is forbidden for childrento date. It creates all kinds of problems. Mohammed(my son) will be raised in Islam like my husband and me. When I have my daughter Zerlinda she won't be going anywhere.

There's a big discrepancy between a thirteen year old and a seventeen year old. How old is your child?
