Computer question? Error message for Office 2003.....?
I keep getting "install" errors for office 2003 whenever I go to search window on Explorer. I cancel, it comes back! Windows Install error? It also pops up at sign on. Anytime I am on Yahoo Answers and ask for "research" a pop up says "Office 2003 installation error. I have done defrag, disc clean, system restore and ran several anti-virus anti spy programs including AVG7, Spybot, Spy Sweeper, Norton and McAfee 5 in 1 to no avail. How can I resolve this?

The search feature in Office was probably set to your default search component, but was configured to install on first use. Make sure the location where you installed Office is available (insert the CD, connect the network drive, or whatever it takes) and try the feature. Hopefully it will install the feature and you will never see that again.

Try reinstalling Office it's possible that when it was installed something didn't install right.
