Why do "certain" Yahoo Answers users feel so threatened by your opinion that they click "report?"
and whine to the Yahoo censors about being offended by the opinions of others that insult "their peaceful religion?" I somehow doubt if the "report button" was a WMD launch code they hestiate to click that button either. Does anyone besides me get the picture now!?
I can't understand why someone would post a question to ask any and all Yahoo users for their different opinions then report you for sharing it!?
Whoa....Good responses!.....So Iguess it happens to a lot of us.....but, frankly, I don't think the censors even bother to read the justification, but just go along with the report. Thanks!

Thanks Mr. US
I totally agree, it is some sort of low self esteem and being unable to defend the Q, then they find a way to report you.
I think not every one knows every thing this is nature, isn't it?
Again thanks for asking this and thumb up, U deserve it.

You should have the right to express your views freely and without fear of censorship in general. There are typically guidelines that you agree to adhere to when you use a specific message board such as Yahoo Answers.
It is my humble opinion that you should be able to state anything you believe as long as you can stand the heat of a reply. After all this is supposed to be a place to state viewpoints and engage in witty repartee.
Likewise, I also feel that the first amendment gets customized too often in the name of political correctness -- but given the tender young age of some of the participants here a line has to be drawn somewhere.

It's the habit of some people to routinely condemn those of which they don't agree because that's how they've been taught: taught to hate certain people and points of view - that mindset is why millions of people continue to be enslaved to superstition and fantasies and why they just have to hit that "report" option. It's also why most of the world is mired in religious wars and contentions. Think about it - it's not the atheists that are fighting, it's religion vs. religion.
I would go so far as to suggest that many of them think they are doing God's will by suppressing the words of the sinners.

I think that some people report because you have insulted people, not because they disagree with you necessarily. If you are rude, callous and state things in hate and ignorance, then people will not only be offended, but turned off of your point of view. Sure, some will rally behind you and tell you how wonderful you are for stating what you think and all, but in the meantime, what has been accomplished? You have said your piece, you've gotten built up yourself, and others have been knocked down and will never listen to you or learn from you. If this is your point, then be proud of your reports. If you'd like to actually get something done and have people read your point of view without being reported, then be more respectful.
** I don't know if you are indeed one of the rude arrogant ones, but if you aren't, maybe some of them will read this reply.

I got reported for setting out a pefectly reasonable argument in favour of evolution because some inadequate little creationist couldn't handle hard fact. If people don't want to see diverse opinions that differ from their own then they shouldn't bother coming here.

I in basic terms won yet another one today, and it sounds stupid, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it hurts and that i'm getting mad. i desire to envision contacts and according to risk erase some, who, i do no longer understand, and it in all probability isn't a sprint. i desire to stop Y/A. Then after calming down and determining that that's the two my fault with the aid of fact of regulations and regulations I in some way inadvertently broke, then Que Sara, Sara, regardless of would be,would be, Que Sara.

I've never reported anyone even though I've seen my share of crazy stuff here. I've been reported once for calling atheist monkeys, but that is their idea not mine. Whatever, it was meant as a compliment.

I only report if it is degrading in a real bad way such as it is blasphemy but I hardly ever have to at all. You have to be really disgustingly disrespectful to earn that. I don't report someone just on the basis that I do not like what I am reading because if you do not like it then don't go in, no law that you have to get involved.

Why do people here deliberately offend people knowing full well that what they posted will get them selves repeorted? You people know the guidlines of the community? So why go out and deliberately break those rules and grip about being reported? Sounds so High school to me.

Are you possibly who I think you are. Your question just rings a bell with me! Boy do I get the picture.
