Why are people from Europe so stupid?

I see this being ask about Americans all the time. It is obvious to me that you lack the skills necessary to formulate an intelligent question. Is this the best you can do? This question is nothing but an attempt to lead people into an argument and to incite hatred. My closest friend is from England and he is just as ignorant as I am.

Anyway, I do not believe this anyway. We all have our problems. Just trying to get a rise out of you Europeans!! Love Ya!!

Update:

To Old Guy 124 - No, I meant we are both ignorant!

Update 2:

Puffy - great answer!!

Update 3:

IslandGuy - your right, they read the top and that was it. Sorry.......

Update 4:

Trubbel - wow!! what an answer, remember I am american. I wanted to point out that you made some points that I did not realize about the way America effects other parts of the world. People like me get caught up up with our own lives we forget this. Thanks for enlightening me. Great answer though.

"I see this being ask about Americans all the time."

I believe many Europeans pose this question in regards to the impact Americans and American politics have on the rest of the world. If a single person is stupid but cannot affect others, few will care. However if a nation (the last superpower?) would not act intelligently the consequences are disastrous.

Because the U.S. is such an important country and affects so many Europeans (playing world-cop and such), some europeans who disagree with the politics of the U.S. and are confounded as to why certain decisions are made, might pose the (annoying?) question you refer to.

"It is obvious to me that you lack the skills necessary to formulate an intelligent question". That may be the case with some, but i believe most would rather provoke debate. It may be difficult to be specific in such a question as there is just so much to debate.

"Is this the best you can do?" For some very young uneducated people it might be, but now it is you who over-simplify and generalize.

To conclude; In my opinion overall Europeans seem in to be more apprehensive, careful, and deliberate in such debates. Tempers do rise when faced with the impact of decisions made by the U.S. which we europeans can do little or nothing to influence. And such, the last refuge of some are to ask "Why are people from the U.S. so stupid?"

I take you may have certainly not come into touch with an atlas...or a map....or a geography elegance. Europe is not a nation. And you're a pleasant instance of the failing American academic procedure. **** "youre donkey" Is that the quality you might do? If you're going to make the effort to e-mail any individual, no less than make certain the insult is a well one and now not whatever a 5 12 months historic could say.

You should take care when you throw out a lure that you don't catch a fish. From your explanation to your question you state "My closest friend is from England and he is just as ignorant as I am". This can be taken two ways, one that neither of you are ignorant or two both of you are ignorant. Hopefully you meant the former and not the later.

Interesting spin on this question. Although the average European is probably only a bit better educated than the average US American, they aren't as loud about it.
