Deal or No Deal ?!?!?
My neightbor gave me one of his old car's, that he hadn't driven in about 3-4months, its a toyota camry 1990, has a little over 140,000 miles on it, and its kinda rusty, its going to need more brake work then i thought, they hiss and leak brake fluid, and for my first car, its perfect, no need to worry about putting the best gas, or having the best insurense, but what i dont know is, if its worth it, hes giving it to me for free, so im not going to complain, but does anyone have any tips for the rust, without making it pricy, and what do you think about the deal, is it worth it, it looks pretty shitty on the outside, but the inside's perfect, so please any advice, or opinons keep um coming, i dont know what to do, the break work is going to cost me a couple hundred but i figured i got it for free, so if i pay a little to fix it up what the hell

Way I see it, if you're getting it for free, I wouldn't worry about the rust. Sure it's an eye sore, but you don't want to put a bunch of money into this car. Just fix what you need to fix to ensure your safety and don't think too much about the appearence...

if the body bothers you that much go to Walmart and buy some body putty it's cheap fill the rust holes and smooth over as best you can and then get some spray paint that comes close to your color and give it a shot it will look better than it did and you'll be the envy of all your friends and neighbors! GOOD LUCK!

ok first do the breaks and all the major work and then go to the rust and to fix it simply paint it ( if it has rust the paint must be peeling anyway) so by doing that it will take care of two problems
and yeah take the car , it would have cost you like 300, 000 if you don't
hope i helped
