Heater not working well on 77 chevy truck?
Something got caught in the diverter valve on the heater of my pickup. 1977 chevy C10, the hot/cold on the dash dosent go all the way to hot, i can push it there but it springs back so i think its a mouse nest. anyone know how to access that flapper??, ive looked in my haynes manual and it says i have to remove the entire heater core also to access the air distributor, and i really dont want to do that.. i think there is an easier way, i hope im right. Thanks

guess what buddy you do have to remove the air distributor cover. been there done that to replace heater core. yes it is a pain in the asse but that is how you access it. you might not have to remove the heater core but will have to remove the cover. just bite the bullet and make it happen. once done you will be happier it is over with
