How long does it take for caffeine take to kick in:?
I heard that physically it takes 4 hours to affect you and the high that you get is mostly mental for the first hour- That's totally sound wrong though

It completely depends on the dosage and the person. For someone that does not ingest caffeine on a regular basis, it may take minutes to a few hours to have an affect. What are you doing to the caffeine that it makes you high?

I think it works as soon as it has been absorbed into your blood stream. The caffeine molecules block the usual body molecules and makes processes speed up. So as soon as they can come into contact you will feel the effects.
