Should Whey Protein powder cause milk to go bad if left for too long?

I just started a new Whey Protein powder. I mixed my morning batch up and brought in in to work after an hour to an hour and a half the last bit tasted bad... I drank it last night and it was fine but it was over a much shorter time... Can you mix and leave in the fridge over night?

Update:

As usual some people just want the 2 points...

Ya soccer chick I figured that about leaving it over night. An hour is not long enough to sour milk. I just wanna know so I know if I need to make sure I drink it within 20 minutes so I don't waste it.

Update 2:

What about water or juice anyone ever try it mixed in either one?

I don't know about the whey powder, but leaving milk out for that long anyway is going to taste funny.

I would think it should have been ok... Maybe you're just not used to the new stuff versus what you were using before. I use the strawberry GNC brand but I always drink it right away, or within a few hours. Maybe you should try only mixing half as much and using it within that day. Good luck!
