Where do you live in the south i am thinking and unless you live in a swamp i don't think you have that many lizards around but i think that's not much you can do there will just come back

i would have to agree, that there's no real good reason for wanting to get rid of them.
Snakes and frogs eat things like mice, bugs, slugs, and cockroaches. They don't do any structural damage to the house. They won't get into your own food and eat it.
You may want to try closing your bedroom door, but other than that, I'd leave them alone.
In many tropical countries they encourage lizards like geckos to come in the house because they control insects.
The lake was there before you were, and it's been the home of snakes and lizards and frogs for longer than there've been people around.
Perhaps if you didn't want to live with lizards and frogs you should have bought an airtight, sealed chamber in a highrise somewhere instead of moving into their territory.

I think you need to repair your house it obviously must be full of large holes if something the size of a frog or lizard can get inside. Try fixing around your door frames with weather stripping, use spray foam to fill any gaps that may give tham access to your house. It is cruel and unnecessary to kill frogs and lizards because your house is badly constructed and they can sneak in, many species of frogs and lizards are endangered and the fine for killing or capturing them is quite substantial... You may want to get an indoor cat. It'll be messy, but cats do kill lizards. I don't know about them killing frogs though. I live in an area where there's no fresh water, and thus no frogs.

I agree with haysoos2, there is no reason for you to kill them. If you don't like critters than why buy a house by a lake where there is bound to be wildlife? Not to mention that you could have declining or endangered species of reptiles and amphibians wandering around, as I am sure you are not going to properly identify them before you kill them.

Dont destroy all, because frogs and lizards eat mosquites and flies who are said to spread deadly diseases like dengue fever, typhoid, lepstopyrosies, elephantysisses, because mosquito coil and mortein is dangerous to the nature like global warming pliz let nature use nature, they will eventually die natural death just like humans
