Are any of you guys kind of "old fashion"?

I am...I still believe in opening doors for a girl, helping her to put her coat on, buying her flowers for no particular reason, just to say, "I love you," etc. I also believe that a woman should take a man's last name when she marries him. None of this keeping your own last name...If my last name isn't good enough for you, than neither am I. Also, I don't like the hyphenated names either. That's not how it's supposed to work. But that's just my opinion, and I'm willing to admit that I am a little old fashion.

Well, when it comes to this topic that this question is in, then yes. I am "old fashion". I love it when a guy opens the door, not dating until like 16, the guy pays, etc. etc. Not that that doesn't happen anymore, I have had several personal encounters where the big, bad, gangsters opened the door and held it for me. I was shocked. I never thought it to be true, but some gagstas are gentlemen in this time period and in the new fashion.

i've dated my ex for 2 years and i opened and closed the doors for her, payed for every meal, walked on the street side of the sidewalk, if not going up the stairs next to each other then walked up first, when coming down the stairs, walked behind her.

Walk her to her front door each time, when hitting the brakes abruptly, pulled out my arm in front of her to protect her.

But i did let her sometimes buy desserts and drinks and movies.

Yeah... I am one of the MOST old fashioned guys I know.

BTW, i am not whooped or anything.

Those things are just small things that seem real big that will win you a lot of credit.

you mean like holding hands going for a walk going out to the moveis then grab a bite to eat then just talk about each other walk back to the house and if she lets me give her a good night kiss yes why????

I am. Men must open doors, pay, etc. It should be standard to men but unfortunately it isn't.

Their are but most women don't like that they think it's corny or cheesy....Wome prefer the badboy....

I look back on the good old days when women looked the part, and men appreciated them.
