ms offfice 2002 application (word, excel, ppt.) keeps on encountering problems and needed to be reinstalled.?

But when I try to repair and reinstall it, it hangs up and stops responding..what should I do???

    Uninstall it first before trying to reinstall the Office 2002.

    You should uninstall it and use Open Office it is free and I think better then MS Office. The suite comes with alternatives for Word Excel and I think PPT. Check it out at http://openoffice.org/
