What can I put under my bed to keep my dog from getting under there?

My dog has been hiding under the bed for no reason. She is not in trouble or anything. She has just decided she is not going to go outside in the mornings. I can't just leave her inside to use the bathroom everywhere. What can I do?

My dog used to to the same thing. I ended up putting plastic storage containers under my bed lining the edges and had to get a "bed skirt" to hang at the bottom to hide the boxes. After he had learned the containers were there he quit trying to go under there and after about 5 months I took the containers out and back into the closet but left the bed skirt. He still thinks the containers are there and doesn't attempt to go under the bed anymore! Good Luck

Bitter Apple. Dogs hate the stuff and you can buy it at the vet. First you have to spray it on the area you don't want the pet to go and then it their mouth. I know it sounds cruel, but it is the only way to get it to work.

    Good luck!

You can use boxes (full), stuffed bags or tablets to prevent her form getting under the bed.

There are sprays that are sold at petco and other places. It turns dogs off. They don't like the smell. Just ask them at the store.

    hope this helps

If you're looking for a technical solution, there are devices that emit high pitched noises or electromagnetic fields. These can work pretty well based on what I've read.

    Good luck!

put a wet blanket under there for a few days. he'll get the idea it's always wet there and find a new place.

Just stuff it full so she can't get underneath. You can use boxes, or garbage bags full of clothes, toys, whatever you can get your hands on.
