I would delete the Messenger program and download it over again it sounds like its missing something click on START (bottom ,left on screen) click control panal, click add/remove program, scroll down to messenger,and click it, then click remove, close it all out ,then to download messenger click here http://messenger.yahoo.com/ Good luck BEST ANSWER

Ya'll are not the only ones!! Been attempting to verify in on account that a pair of million p.m. as we talk - it is 10 p.m. now. additionally, i don't get the notifications that I used to get in Messenger while somebody posts a sparkling blog. surely anybody else have that situation?

u might have a wrong password or it could be srewed up so i would unload it then reload it again that usualy works for me.
