Why do people not bother to do a quick internet search before asking questions on here?

There's so many questions on here about specific information, which if you type it into a search engine you get all the info you need. Are people just too lazy?

I totally agree. They could have found the answer to the question by the time they typed it in. People are lazy. and as long as people keep giving homework answers and other answers that can easily be found by doing a search..it won't stop.

I agree it seems like a lot people don't research their own questions first and waste the 5points asking. But I also think that there is always going to be someone out there with the specific knowledge that will answer my question exactly and with proof. Rather than me having to root through loads of stuff on a Googlesearch the appeal of finding someone who knows makes asking the question seem not so dumb.

Maybe some people don't know how to use the search engine, as you can see by some peoples spelling maybe the reason they can't find it if they do a search is because of their spelling, so they leave it to us to try and translate what it is their asking

I agree - but I guess its just a question of why have a dog and bark yourself - someone else out here is always gonna find out the information for them. Cant count how many times I have Googled stuff for people and thought 'why didn't you do this?'

But you have to have some degree of effort to put in the question here.

I agree that about 90% of the fact-based questions here can be resolved with a simple internet search; it does seem odd, though, that they don't so the next step themselves

    Often wondered that myself .

But there again where do you find answers on google to such obscure and weird outlandish questions such as "Does the Queen lick her dishes" "why do people have blue belly button fluff "

sometimes people want to hear from other people who may have experienced what they need to know. the questions i have asked i would never find the answers by looking them up because i wanted to hear from people who had been through what what i was asking about.

Because people like this way and are looking for solutions which are outside the box, creative and original

I don't think it's about being too lazy. It's just fun to see what people think and to see what goofy stuff people will say.
