What do you like best about seeing a rock concert?

My personal favorite moment is when the house lights first go off and the crowd goes wild just before the band takes the stage.

A second close favorite is listening to the songs over and over again after the concert for the next couple of days and remembering seeing that song played live.

Update:

p.s. I wrote about the Deftones concert I just saw in my blog: http://jimjones3.com/

This may sound gay, but I like the thought of thousands of strangers that would never talk to one another or even like one another are all rocking harmoniously to some great sh*t! I think that is a great feeling! Gives me goosebumps! Now as far as KISS goes, man they fu*king rock!! The lights, the music, the whole show!! Kicks *ss from the beginig to the end!!

My personal favorite while watching a rock concert- by combing a hand to hand with my gf when the auditorium lights goes off and the bands play a romantic love song.

Yep ... just remembering High School times ... getting to the arena - making my way up to the front rows to find a seat (instead of my assigned seat), the energy of the crowd, house lights going off, the lighters, and even though then I did not partake ... the smell of people lightin' up!!! HAHAHHA! I always loved that smell and it is forever associated with concerts!

    Hmm. ALL OF IT...

Getting there early, partying in the parking lot, you know..."tail gating". WAY COOL. Meet fun people, toss around a ball or frisbee, BBQ, Drink some coctails....

Then, the best part is when its about to start. The fans are all pumped up. Its awesome. Then, the band comes on and the enthusiasm and emotion.....AHHHHH......LOVE a GOOD CONCERT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glen, that is awe-a few. You are fortunate! I noticed the Beach Boys for the period of the summer time of ' sixty nine , in Atlantic City, at the Steel Pier. They had been first-rate -- nonetheless utilizing the Fender guitars and amps. The line-up was once Mike Love (vocal), Bruce Johnston (bass guitar & organ), Carl Wilson (lead guitar), Dennis Wilson (drums), and AL Jardine on rhythm guitar. A man named Ed Carter performed bass whilst Bruce was once on organ. The following month, Charles Manson did his factor to these blameless sufferers. I noticed Grand Funk in past due summer time of ' seventy three, the very 1st live performance in their ''We're An American Band " excursion - in Harrisburg, PA. By this time, they had been a quartet, with Craig Frost on keyboards.. They did plenty of early stuff, despite the fact that.... " Inside Lookin' Out'', " Time Machine ", " In Need '', " Closer To Home '', " Heartbreaker '', " T.N.U.C. '', " Foot-stompin' Music '', " Gimme Shelter ''.......... as good because the more recent stuff ..... " Rock n Roll Soul '', " Walk Like a Man '', " American Band '', " Black Licorice '', " The Railroad '', ...... and so they had been splendid at this live performance, too. P.S. - They did " Foot-stompin' Music and went proper into the music ''The Flight of the Phoenix". .
