How do I delete walls in sims 2 for PCs?

you have to be in the "build wall" tool, and then press ctrl while holding down your mouse as if you were building another wall. same goes for pools, i think...

When using the wall tool; press down the "Ctrl" key and click down on the wall portions you want to remove; then while holding down the right mouse button, go over the walls you want removed (note you still need to hold down the "Ctrl" key) and then release on the mouse key; then the "Ctrl" key and it should remove the walls you want removed. In build mode, hold the Crtl button and left click at the start of where you want to delete and drag to where you want to stop. Be sure to release the left click before the control button.
