For retaliation for assassination attempt, Saddam got death penalty. What is appropriate penalty for G Bush?

Saddam Huissen was sentenced to death for killing the people he believed attempted to assassinate him. George Bush invaded Iraq and continues to kill innocent people because of an Iraqi assassination attempt on his father's life. (He initially tried to justify the invasion due to the supposed presence of Weapons of Mass Destruction. (His stated reasons for the invasion continue to change.) Thousands of Iraqi's have died, been injured and maimed. Thousands of American soldiers have also died, been injured and maimed.

What is the difference between what Saddam did and what Bush continues to do? What is an appropriate punishment for Bush?

There is no difference other than Hussein did not lie, cheat and steal to obliterate people. Bush did and continues to do so. Appropriate penalty has begun: Dems took House and Senate. Pelosi will be the end of him. History will show him as the worst president the U.S. has ever experienced.

Excellent question!! I personally favor the death penalty for multiple murderers, child killers and tyrants like Saddam. However, if the death penalty were not an option in his case, a wonderful punishment would have been to keep him in a cage in the middle of Baghdad, Iraq, with only enough food and water to survive. Then the people he terrorized and tortured could do what they wanted with him; a wide variety of things.

Bush should get the Nobel prize for removing that kook.

Saddam is a MONSTER. He has killed countless thousands, and tortured just as many, if not more. He had men put thru giant shredding machines ALIVE. His sons, Douche-ay and Doof-ay, or whatever, kidnapped women from the womens' own WEDDINGS and raped them. Outside Hussein's palace, our boys found emaciated lions in cages with human bones strewn about. Saddam's sons evidently fed women to those lions after they spent the night RAPING them.

Bush is a hero in my mind, if only for removing Saddam.

Im sorry, everything you said is so unrealistic, President Bush is the elected representative of the American People, Saddam was a tyrannical third world criminal dictator. Get a life.

    Really?

I hesitate to even respond to this since your logic is so screwed but since it's Veteran's weekend and you are asking questions which I feel undermines the men and women who are bravely fighting for your freedom to say such crap, I'll take a shot at responding.

First, it's "Hussein". Second, Saddam ordered the INTENTIONAL executions of thousands of men, women, and children who were after the same freedom they you seem to take for granted. I wonder what would have happened to the Kurds had they asked a question like yours of Saddam. Reckon they'd be around long? These people were not killed as innocent civilian casualties of war; they were executed as criminals, women and children. I don't recall GW getting the democrats to line up as he orders his Eichmann's to execute each one of them, their spouse's, and their children. If that were the case, your logic might hold some water.

What hard evidence do you have to support your conspiracy theory that the Bush went to war for the simple reason to kill the man who attempted to assassinate his father? (And Michael Moore is not hard evidence)

Please show proof of U.S. GI's INTENTIONALLY killing all or most of the "innocent" civilians. Just because they were not dressed in a uniform when they were killed doesn't make them innocent. (That certainly is not to say that innocent people have not been injured/killed in cross fire etc.)

You have absolutely no proof of any of your accusations about reason's we went to war. Funny that democrats and republicans looked at the same damn intelligence and came to the same damn conclusions. Not only did they review our intelligence but they reviewed other countries as well. How the hell did they all say the same thing; "Saddam has or is trying to get WMD's"? Ahh a conspiracy theory! But NO, Bush made that intelligence up! He controlled the CIA and fooled EVERYBODY! Boy that GW, sure is a smart fellow!

As for Saddam's WMD's, I guess after he used up all of his WMD's on his own people and he forgot to restock. Well maybe not, there's no need for WMD's anymore after killing ten's of thousands of Kurds. Hell, I'm sure he downsized his WMD collection after he established himself as a ruthless dictator.

Or maybe, we sat around for months attempting to get the U.N. to act; we gave Saddam 27 "warnings" through the U.N. about how he's not supposed to have WMD's. We staged up in the Middle East, and then finally attacked. And we are surprised when we don't find any WMD's? Really? God, there is no way in hell he transported any weapons to Syria, Iran, etc. How could he have had time to do so? I mean there was no warning at all. My fault, I forgot the WMD's were just a ploy to get us in over there so Bush could kill Saddam. Well damn, Bush screwed that one up too! We caught the s.o.b. (Saddam, not Bush) alive and gave him a fair trial!

Thousand's have died in the Iraq war. MILLIONS have now FREELY elected their own government. An estimated 25,000 people died during the fight for this country's freedom. If you included the Civil War that death toll goes up in the hundred's of thousands. It's taken us two hundred years and we're still struggling to defeat crime, poverty, and corrupt gov't. Iraq has a free govt, freedom of press,...Never mind. It doesn't matter with logic like yours.

The mere fact that you compare George Bush to Saddam Hussein shows your intelligence level. And that's coming from someone who doesn't care a whole lot for George Bush.

I too, can sometimes sympathize with Saddam. I mean, it has got to be a lot easier to just kill the people you disagree with, rather than have to listen to the ignorance that spews out of their mouth.

And if you really think there should be punishment for Bush, then give him the same thing we gave to that sorry excuse for a human, Saddam... a fair trial.

So, Saddam is only guilty of what his conviction states? What BS. He is responsible for much more than that.

I don't even know where you are coming from with this question. You base your entire question on false statements and expect, what?

You are one sick puppy to even dare compare any president of the US to such an evil man. Too bad so many of our fine men and women in uniform have to die to defend your right to be an ***. Shame on you!!!!

Simple, put him on national television and administer him the truth drug, then play it back to him once the drug had worn off, the humiliation alone would be a living death.

The worst punishment I can think of would be to force him to read all of these inane letters from bimbos like you. It's become a form of torture and if you don't stop it, I'm going to report you to the Democrats.
