Need to know How to mark soccer field cheap We are using paint that cost 34 bucks for 5 gal.?
we dont want to use power chaulk. we cut the paint with water is there any other method to cut cost down? thanks

Try going to your local hardware store,and asking them to donate there mistints paint, We donate ours to the local soccer team..all of the mistints won't work but alot of the times theres damaged whites and light mistints that do work for them..saves them a ton of money..Just an idea!! You could try using primer instead of paint...it's usually much cheaper than paint. By the way, 5 gallons of paint should cover more than 2500 sq.ft. maybe twice as much if you watered it down. That should be more than enough to completely paint 6 or more fields if you are using an appropriate sprayer.
On the other hand, if you are applying to a natural surface (as opposed to astro-turf) you could try gypsum, or white sand, but it's stick with the paint since it won't build up over time.
