please help!!! i've just bought a new samsung ht-q20 dvd player and can't find the region unlock code for it!

Try this

1. Remove disc from tray.

2. Switch off player

3. Wait 30 seconds.

4. Turn on player with remote. Wait for player to finish loading and display 'no disc'.

5. Press enter on remote. (There will be no on-screen response.)

6. Press 8, 4, 2, 6, 9 on the remote. (There will be no on-screen response.)

7. Press enter on the remote. Player will automatically turn off.

8. Turn player on.

9. Open Tray

10. Close tray.

11. Turn player off then on again.

Akura ADV14S / ADV145S / ADV146S / ADV147S / ADV147AS turn on the participant (and not using a disc inserted) Press SETUP Press VOL+, VOL-, VOL+, VOL- modern-day area ought to be displayed choose area utilising precise (255 = multi-area) Press SETUP

You have to get this done by engineer - you can't do it yourself. If you have it unlocked, you will void the warranty.
