I voulenteer to work with autistic kids, or kids with social detachment (maybe because they're parents died..or they were adopted and have a fear of abandment)
My sisters deaf..so I learned sign language (asl) and teach free classes on the weekends to kids in the schools so they can communicate and understand her and other people with the same disabiltiy.
I dance at a christian dance center..we're bringing back real dance..not putting half naked kids on stage to shke thier butt and dance to degrading music. We do fundraisers so everyone can dance and in April were hoping to be up at times square if we can raise the money..

Joined the military served in Europe, Bosnia during the begining stages, and even helped get all our troops home. Entered the medical field helped many people even saved a few lives and made the world a happier place just by helping others. By far the most significant thing I have ever done to give my life meaning is to give my only son whom I loved more than life itself to a loving couple who could not have children because at the time I could not give him the life he deserved he is very well loved and has a great life. I have never had a regret with my life. If I was to die tomorrow those around me know I have lived truly lived.

Volunteer Work
Study Spirituality
Those are the top two. With volunteer work you help others which not only enriches your life but others too. It can kep you out meeting people, making friends, and spending your time in a meaningful way.
By studying my spirituality it has enriched my life ten fold. I have been reading as many books I can on the meaning of life, our souls, our destiny in life, the ten commandments for life, and our soul signs. This is a lifelong process and a journey that never ends. As you learn more you want to know more and it opens up others questions. Every reading I have done with psychics/mediums has been so accurate it is amazing. It has realy changed my life........for the better.

1. Pursued a career that is reflective of what I really wanted - numbers and research
2. Never stopped learning - I am now planning to take my MBA, after 11 years of working in the corporate world and earning myself some credits with online education aligned with my career
3. Gave to charity - I give to an established local charity and to an established international charity
4. Have a vision that is beyond yourself - say, "end poverty" (www.one.org, www.makepovertyhistory.com, amnesty international) and actively participate
5. Joined a group of friends and did something outrageously fun - like dressing up like mimes and giving away daisies to strangers and taking photos with them
6. Joined a 'self-awareness' seminar - that got me off the treadmill of life for 5 days
7. Learned a new language (Spanish) and traveled to countries I have never been to
8. Stood up for what I think was right - risking everything (well, not everything, but you know, career, cash, etc...)
9. Fell in love and chose to love with someone in spite of the distance
10. Be gracious, courteous, kind, and nice to everyone - said thank-you to everyone from cashiers to security guards to cleaning ladies; called taxi drivers "Sir"/"Ma'am", even if they were rude (and boy, they could be rude to foreigners like me) sometimes
11. Pray - OK, it's not necessarily to the same God I pray to, but prayer centers me.
12. Breathe. Just simply breathing and taking it all in whilst being distant - yeah, it's a paradox, I know, but possible - helps.
13. Be aware of things that are around and that are inside.
14. Just live - one day at a time. In ten years, the things I did yesterday and the things I will do tomorrow will probably be forgotten by me, by others...
15. Forgive.

I have been married for 32 years my kids are grown and I really felt like I have no joy in my life.. all we do is work ...
I turned 50... it is time to do more than just work so hard and seem to stall out in my life..
I spent all the years raising my family and now it is time for me and my husband to have fun... and if he doesn't want to come along...I'll go alone...
I bought a brandnew sports car... go for facials and stuff once in awhile....we got our passports and I. booked 2 trips and took my husband .. he likes to stay home.... but if I plan the fun he will go along willingly.. had my teeth capped, lost 15 pounds, I never wear anything that doesn't make me feel wonderful and alive, and plan dinner parties as time permits... spoil my husband and the family and just have a great time.... my husband has always found my independant ways intruiging and he can hardley wait till we have more adventures...... He says I am in charge of the Entertainment Commitee....
Best of all we are more in love after all these years than when we got married... and we have a ball together

The meaning of life is to prepare the way for the next generation. That's all. You come in to this life with nothing, you leave with nothing. Therefore, there is no other reason than to prepetuate the species. Of course you can have fun along the way, it's part of gaining the knowledge that should be passed on.

The truth is I enjoy praising God and giving him the glory. The things that I do and the way that I do them, to his honor. We are the subjects of his reign.
