If you work in an area where homeless people gather, what was the company policy about them?

This is for a sociology project. If you now work or ever have worked in a place where transients hang around, did your company have a set policy? Or were you told anything, like "Just don't let them in here" or "Don't let them bother customers"?

We threw garbage at them as mall security guards. Offered them 10$ each if they'd "fight til one faints" and 5$ more for the winner. Then there were the female ones who would sleep with you for a bit of scraps from the food court. Sometimes we'd try to run over them with the security vehicles...all of this was unknown by the mall managerial staff but it was still fun. *sigh*...good times...I still miss this guy named Ozzy. He was bum-fighting champion.
