YES I'VE DONE SOUNDS/ALERTS I'VE CHECK MY CPU SPEAKERS AND CHECK SOUNDS AND AUDIO DEVICES.NOTHING HAS CHANGE . SPEAKERS ARE FINE I'VE PLAY MUSIC TO CHECK . .ANY OTHER ADVISE? THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS IN ANSWERS

Did you install the new version (8 and up)? If so the new sounds associated to the actions are more like hisses then anything else. If you have the installer for version 7 or lower, install that and copy the sound files somewhere, reinstall v8 and replace the sound files. I can e-mail them to you.

Are sounds and alerts activated on your messenger?
Click on Messenger and the Preferences and then Alerts and Sounds. Make sure "Enable alerts and sounds" box is ticked and then check the other options.
