It all started when my sister was doing this system recovery and then she clicked this button Alt F4....

This could be the cause of the interruption as you mentioned, why did your sister doing that??
I think you should start all over again. If you have some important items, please save it or back up it in the safe mode, or dos mode(i hope you know how to do this: pressing f8 many times at the booting session)
then, delete the system or software that you are using, and then try to setup it again. Make sure there are no interruptions during the proccess(even the screen saver-you should turn it off).

This happens when installation process terminated accidently. Use ur windows cd and Insert it into station then reboot(Remeber: Do'nt boot with CD). after reboot windows will restart the installation process again. it will help the system to recover all lost files from previous setup.
If it not works, try to reinstall windows(if it allows :).

which windows are you using, try to recover your windows, if there is any other backup available other than you tried last time, or run windows setup and try recover or reinstall windows again.
